CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS

Click, Clack, Moosic

A musical storytelling event! Using  the children’s books by Doreen Cronin, Helix plays original music and projects illustrations as the stories are read. Each character in the books has their very own instrument, and all instrument families are represented. Created by Phil Popham and the West Michigan Symphony, these shows have sold out repeatedly and brought the world of music to kids of all ages!

World Dance Party!

Helix Collective's World Dance Party introduces kids to the fun of group dancing! The dance party takes a tour through time and around the world with this fun, interactive presentation. Every stop along the way of the dance train teaches students about the music, dance and culture of a different time and place. Not only do kids listen and learn about music but they also get to feel the music through motion and dance. The steps of each dance are easy, so any one can start dancing for fun right away. This program is easily adaptable for any age from pre-school through adults!
